Costa Rica is heaven on earth for travelers. If you are traveling there, you may want to find about some
tourist information that is vital to know. Weather in Costa Rica is usually very mild and temperate even during the rainy season. The average temperature is 72 degrees and can vary depending upon where you are going. In the mountainous areas, it can get pretty cold. In the tropical regions, it can get as high as 92 degrees.
Points of Entry
There are several points of entry into Costa Rica. Juan Santamaría Airport is your first point of entry. Delta, United and Lan Airways are just some of the carriers that land here. Bear in mind that there will be a $26 USD exit fee at this airport. This is payable by cash or credit card. Your second point of entry will be Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport which accepts flights from American, United and Continental Airlines.
Passport Information
There is more tourist information that you need to know. If you are entering the country, you must have a valid passport with one blank visa page. You will also need a pre paid ticket to exit and proof of financial resources such as $400 in traveller’s checks. You will also need a visa in certain situations. However, if you are travelling from the US, you do not need one and can stay in the country for 90 days.

When gathering tourist information about Costa Rica, you may want to know about other points of entry. There are entry points by car such as the Interamericana which runs from Penas Blancas to Paso Canoas. Bus service is also offered from the surrounding countries and a twice daily boat service from Los Chiles. Any tourist information office can help you with reservations.
